Choose Silk Business Cards for a smooth surface and matte appearance. Your full-color design is printed on 16pt stock and laminated on both sides, giving a logo and contact details a coordinated finish for client meetings, networking and everyday introductions.
Our classic 2 × 3.5 inch rectangular cards use 16PT C2S stock. The smooth laminate adds durability and resistance to water and tearing. Choose your printed sides and add Spot UV where available. FAQs
What are Silk Business Cards?
These cards use 16PT C2S stock with Silk lamination on both sides. The laminate creates a smooth, matte appearance and adds resistance to water and tearing.
Are Silk cards waterproof?
They are water-resistant, not waterproof. Brief contact with small amounts of water is different from soaking or submerging the card, which can let water into the stock and cause damage.
Is Spot UV available?
Yes. Choose Spot UV to add it to the front. Double-sided print configurations also offer Spot UV Both Sides and Spot UV Back Full UV on the Front. Available options appear in the Spot UV Sides dropdown.
Does No Coating remove the Silk lamination?
No. Every configuration includes Silk lamination. No Coating means there is no additional Spot UV coating.
Can I print on both sides?
Choose 4/4 for full color on both sides, 4/1 for a full-color front and black ink back, or 4/0 for a full-color front and blank back.
Which size and corners are available?
This product is 2 × 3.5 inches, with a rectangular shape and square corners.
What quantities can I order?
No Coating is available in quantities from 250 to 5,000. Spot UV starts at 500. Select an available run size from the quantity and price table.
What is the turnaround time?
KB Print Lab offers 5 Business Days after artwork approval. Shipping transit time is additional.
Do you provide design templates?
Yes. The Templates tab includes horizontal and vertical JPEG templates for this card size. PSD files appear when supplied. Remove all template guides before exporting your print-ready artwork.
How should I prepare the artwork?
Use CMYK color at 300 dpi with 0.0625 inch of bleed on each edge. A horizontal file including bleed is 3.625 × 2.125 inches. Extend backgrounds through the bleed, keep important text inside the safety guide, and supply a print-ready PDF when possible.
