Painted Edge Cards
Carry your brand color beyond the printed faces with Painted Edge Business Cards. The thick 32pt uncoated stock makes the edge treatment visible, giving you another design choice to coordinate with your logo and contact information.

FAQs
What are Painted Edge Cards, and how do I set up the artwork?
Painted Edge Cards use thick 32PT uncoated stock. The edge is finished in your selected color, while your artwork prints on the card faces. Prepare the front and back using the matching business card template; the edge color is selected separately.
Can my artwork background affect the edge color?
Yes. Light or dark backgrounds can slightly affect how the edge color appears, especially in a stack of cards. A solid background is recommended. The difference is usually less noticeable when viewing one card.
Which edge colors are available?
Choose from 16 painted finishes: Yellow, Pink, Metallic Gold, Metallic Blue, Metallic Green, Orange, Brown, Black, Metallic Hot Pink, Metallic Purple, Blue, Metallic Orange, Red, Turquoise, Metallic Yellow, Purple. White (Not Painted) is also available.
What does White (Not Painted) mean?
The card edge stays white without an added painted finish. The stock and available printing choices remain the same.
Can I print on both sides?
Choose 4/4 for full color on both sides, 4/1 for a full-color front and black ink back, or 4/0 for a full-color front and blank back.
Which size, stock, and finish are offered?
These cards measure 2 × 3.5 inches, with a rectangular shape and square corners. They use 32PT Uncoated stock with No Coating on the printed faces.
What quantities can I order?
Choose 250, 500, or 1,000 cards. The quantity table shows the total price for each available run.
How are the cards packaged?
Your cards come in standard box packaging, included with the selected configuration.
What is the turnaround time?
KB Print Lab offers 5 Business Days after artwork approval. Shipping transit time is additional.
Where are the templates, and what file setup should I use?
The Templates tab provides horizontal and vertical JPEG templates. PSD downloads appear when available. Prepare CMYK artwork at 300 dpi with 0.0625 inch of bleed on each edge; a horizontal file with bleed measures 3.625 × 2.125 inches. Remove template guides before exporting a print-ready PDF.
