Choose classic 14PT Uncoated, Silk-laminated 16PT C2S, or substantial 32PT Uncoated stock in the standard 2 × 3.5 inch rectangle. Available foil colors and printed-side combinations update with your stock. One foil color applies to the whole order, including both sides.

FAQs
How does Foil Worx differ from raised foil?
Foil Worx is hot-stamped foil with a flat finish. Raised foil has a textured surface that you can feel above the card. This product uses flat Foil Worx accents.
What is a foil mask file?
A mask is separate black-and-white artwork showing where to apply a finish. Use solid 100% K black for foil areas and white everywhere else, with no other color channels in the black areas. Keep its size and alignment identical to the print file.
Can artwork print underneath the foil?
A solid background behind the foil is recommended. Text and detailed artwork underneath may show through. Avoid knocking out the background beneath the foil because placement can vary by up to 1/16 inch.
Which foil colors can I choose?
14PT Uncoated and 16PT C2S offer Gold, Copper, Silver, Blue, Rose Gold, Red, and Black Foil. The 32PT Uncoated stock offers Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold Foil. Use the same foil color on the front and back of an order.
How should I prepare a Foil Worx order?
Supply print artwork and a separate foil mask for each foil side. If you choose Spot UV, supply its masks separately as well; a two-sided order can require six files. Keep foil and Spot UV at least 1/16 inch apart. Avoid very small text or fine foil lines, keep foil coverage below 50% of each printed side, and allow up to 1/16 inch of placement variation. Vector-based mask files are recommended.
What do the printed-side numbers mean?
5 indicates full-color printing plus foil; 4 means full-color printing without foil; 1 means black ink; 0 is blank. For example, 5/0 has color and foil on the front with a blank back, while 5/5 has color and foil on both sides. Available combinations change with the stock.
Which stocks and coatings are available?
Choose 14PT Uncoated, 16PT C2S, or 32PT Uncoated. The 16PT stock includes Silk lamination and offers No Coating or Spot UV. Both uncoated stocks have no lamination and use No Coating.
Which size, shape, and quantities are offered?
All cards measure 2 × 3.5 inches with a rectangular shape and square corners. 14PT and 16PT stocks offer 500, 1,000, 2,500, and 5,000 cards. 32PT offers 250 or 500 cards.
What is the turnaround time?
KB Print Lab offers 8 Business Days after artwork approval. Shipping transit time is additional.
Where can I find the templates?
The Templates tab includes horizontal and vertical JPEG templates for the standard rectangle. PSD downloads appear when supplied. Prepare CMYK print artwork at 300 dpi with 0.0625 inch of bleed on every edge. A horizontal file with bleed is 3.625 × 2.125 inches. Remove all template guides from final print and mask files.
